Talking of rain... (see below) we had a really wet day yesterday in the North West and we were playing in a marquee in a field at a steam fair in Chorley.
The car approached the marquee sideways and one side of the car is now mud coloured and I think the entire car is a little wider than it states in the handbook...
However we had an excellent night again with the steam and tractor enthusiasts - a far bigger audience than last year and we have to say thanks to Jack who booked us and looked after us all evening.
Mind you, I think next year we are going to have to make the roadies stick to water... We managed to get the cars off the field at the end of the night even with a little more sideways manouvring, but had we been unable to then Fran and Jeannie could have floated home quite happily!
