Heskin Hall and Myerscough College

4 June 2006
A busy weekend this weekend but a brilliant one! On Saturday night we played in a huge marquee - complete with dance floor - at a Steam Rally out at Heskin Hall near Chorley.

On Sunday we played for around 6 hours at Myerscough College's Open Day, meeting up with lots of friends and generally having a good time! After a dubious start, the weather picked up and we all came away sore with sunburn! Jeannie had been out and bought a couple of "props" - cowboy hats for the country set and Mexican hats for when we play "Dance The Night Away" (and the soon to be included "La Bamba"). They did stop my head from being sunburned!

Jeannie also decided to thrash away on the tambourine during a few numbers on Sunday too and very good at it she was too... David said he wasn't surprised and said he had bruises to show...
